Terms and Conditions

Please read and accept our terms and conditions to continue using the system.

1. Purpose of the Service

CliniTech is a cloud-based platform (SaaS) that allows clinics and medical offices to manage appointments, medical records, finances, inventory, and other administrative modules offered within the system. By creating an account or logging in, the clinic and its users agree to use the platform solely for lawful purposes related to the administration of their medical practice.

2. Account and Access

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials (email and password) and for all activity carried out under their account. The clinic is responsible for the accounts it creates for its staff, including granting and revoking access as appropriate. It is recommended to enable the two-step verification available in the system.

3. Trial Plan and Billing

The free trial plan grants temporary access to the platform for the period indicated at the time of registration, with no payment method required. At the end of the trial, continued service requires subscribing to a paid plan (monthly or annual) according to the prices in effect published on the pricing page. Prices, included modules, and plan terms may be updated; changes do not apply retroactively to already-billed periods.

4. Confidentiality and Patient Data

The clinical and personal information of patients that the clinic records in the system is the property and responsibility of the clinic. CliniTech acts as the data processor for that information, implementing reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect it (encryption in transit, backups, role-based access control), and does not access it except to provide technical support or when required by law. It is the clinic's responsibility to obtain informed consent from its patients when applicable regulations require it. When the same patient is seen at more than one clinic using CliniTech (identified by their identity document, or by full name and date of birth), certain basic demographic data — name, gender, and email address — is shared and automatically updated between those clinics to maintain a single identity record. Phone number, address, and all clinical information (evolutions, diagnoses, prescriptions, documents, appointment history) remain exclusive to each clinic and are never shared with others.

5. Ownership of Information

All information entered by the clinic (patients, appointments, finances, documents, etc.) belongs to the clinic. In the event of service cancellation, the clinic may request the export of its data within the period indicated in the cancellation process, after which the information may be permanently deleted in accordance with our retention policies.

6. Availability and Backups

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the platform continuously available, including periodic backups of the information. However, 100% availability is not guaranteed, and there may be scheduled or unscheduled interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure.

7. Limitation of Liability

CliniTech is an administrative and records management support tool; it does not replace the clinical or professional judgment of medical staff, who are solely responsible for the diagnostic and therapeutic decisions made regarding their patients. To the extent permitted by law, CliniTech will not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.

8. Changes to these Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. When a new version is published, users will be asked to accept it again the next time they log in before continuing to use the system.
